Rainbow trout in most of the lakes, kokanee in Woods Lake from April to August and bass in Shannon Lake, these are a few of the most popular, you can fish from shore or launch a boat there are a few hidden gems for those who wish to explore the back country. Many of the lakes have either forestry or provincial campsites. There are many resorts in the area that offer cabin rentals as well as daily boat rentals.
